Why should I put the SHARE program in place in my company?

The SHARE program will save your company money and your employees will appreciate your concern for their health, safety and well being.

What kind of return on investment can I expect?

Companies that implement the SHARE program can expect a decrease in the direct cost of Workers’ Comp, disability and health care. For every direct dollar, you will also save $1 to $10 in indirect costs.

What other benefits come with the SHARE program?

Your SHARE nurse works under the direct supervision of a knowledgeable and experienced Occupational Health R.N. supervisor, with additional direction from an Occupational Medicine physician with exceptional expertise and knowledge. Your nurse also has close working relationships with and immediate access to the following Corporate Health products and programs: Occupational Medicine Centers, Work Capacity Center, CONCERN EAP, and Preventive Health Systems, as well as TriHealth Women’s Health and Integrative Health and Medicine.

How long has SHARE been in business and what types of companies utilize your program?

Our client companies range in size from 40 to several thousand employees and are typically manufacturing – light to heavy. Some of our original companies have been with us for almost 20 years.

What are my options if I can’t afford a full-time nurse?

SHARE currently provides programs for companies with as few as 40 employees to several thousand. Regardless of your size, we can design a program to fit your needs with flexible scheduling and/or shift coverage as needed.

Will I get a different nurse every week?

No, we recruit, interview, hire, train, and orientate the nurse to your specific company. We develop the program based on an assessment of your needs and preferences. Optional staff nurses for coverage needs are trained in each company.

What if our needs change due to economic conditions (expansion or cutbacks)?

We understand business and the economic climate in which our companies function. Hours can be decreased or expanded as needs change. We have several established customers that have experienced economic upheavals and the SHARE program has been instrumental in weathering the changes with flexing schedules and temporary cutbacks.

What happens if my regular nurse gets sick?

One of the benefits of the SHARE program is that coverage is provided for your nurse during vacation, illness, or family emergency. SHARE maintains a pool of qualified Occupational Health nurses who will be orientated and trained to your company to fill this need.

“The management team of SHARE has been responsive to our needs and available to help resolve problems. For instance, I originally did not find the monthly SHARE reports as helpful as I had hoped. The SHARE management team met with me and we discussed my specific needs and they put together a report (including corresponding with our TPA) that met my needs as well as the needs of upper management.”
